History
R. C. Whan began operations in 1945, producing castings for a local lead and
zinc smelter. In 1959 growth in demand for their services necessitated a move
to a larger site, where the company is still located.
Our client base has continued to grow, driven by the company's reputation for
quality and service, and we now supply cast products throughout Australia and
overseas to a variety of industries including pump manufacturers, mining operations,
smelters and steel works.
